O’Connor’s Federal Criminal Rules & Codes 2013 is the only
codebook with annotated Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure and Federal
Rules of Evidence. The book also includes other federal rules, Title 18
U.S.C., and selections from many other U.S.C. titles that provide for
offenses or relate to criminal procedure.
The annotations are selected by practicing criminal defense lawyers. Authors Edward Mallett and Jeffrey S. Weiner are both past presidents of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Alexander Bunin is a long-time Federal Public Defender currently based in Albany, New York. Sean Buckley’s
practice ranges from single-count misdemeanors to complex white-collar
litigation. Their collective experience and knowledge ensure that the
annotations are relevant and helpful. The annotations are verbatim
quotes from precedential and significant opinions and are arranged
categorically after the appropriate rule. The annotations help you
interpret the rule, identify any test associated with it, and find
relevant case law from the various circuits. This book is perfect for
the courtroom or the office, providing quick and accurate answers to
procedural questions from clients, judges, or opposing counsel. When
your question is more complex, the annotations are an excellent starting
point for your legal research.
